Questions on Erectile Dysfunction

Straightforward Answers To Common Questions
Brigo offers both brand name and generic oral erectile dysfunction medications that are FDA-approved. When used as needed, ED medication should be taken orally at least 30 minutes to two hours before engaging in sexual activity. The effects will last for approximately 36 hours. When taking daily medication, the dosage should be taken around the same time daily. You should not take more than one dose within a 24-hour time period.
Your medical provider will help determine the most appropriate treatment for you. All of the oral medications that are available to treat erectile dysfunction throughout the United States are approved by the FBA based on high quality and time-extensive clinical trials. Findings from these trials have shown that ED medications are effective and safe for a vast majority of men. Your online ED visit with your medical provider will help to identify any risks these treatment plans pose to you based on your medical and medication history.
A qualified medical provider can help you find the most effective ED pill for you with enough information about your body, lifestyle, and previous medical history. You can work with them to identify an ED medication and dosage appropriate for your needs. Through our platform, you may connect with providers and receive ongoing care as well.
Generally, ED treatment side effects are temporary and mild. Common side effects can include nasal congestion (stuffy nose), runny nose, back pain, upset stomach, flushed skin, or headaches. Our medical providers can help you address side effects in more detail both during our online visitors as well as all follow-up consultations. It is important to note that ED medications can and very rarely do cause serious side effects such as priapism ( painful, prolonged erections that can result in permanent erectile dysfunction if not treated urgently). Serious adverse effects such as vision or hearing loss have also been reported, although further insight has not been gleaned if these adverse effects were solely caused by ED medication. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects you experience immediately.
Erectile dysfunction medication should not be taken more than once in a 24-hour period.
Mixing your erectile dysfunction medication with alcohol increases the risks of side effects and we do not recommend doing so.
Yes, eating foods high in fats reduces the rate and total amount of Sildenafil citrate (or Viagra) the body absorbs. It is recommended that sildenafil citrate (Viagra) be taken on an empty stomach to achieve the best effect. The same effect is not observed in Cialis or other generic forms of tadalafil.
Questions on Hair Loss

Straight forward Answers to Common Hairline Questions
We offer three different types of hair loss treatments that come in either pill form or also contain topical solutions. The two FDA-approved medications we offer in our treatment plans are Finasteride and Minoxidil.
As with any medicine, there will be side effects even with the best, clinically proven hair loss medications. Upon your visit with a medical provider, you will be provided full information about all side effects and treatment guidelines so that you are well informed.
Minoxidil helps increase blood flow to the hair follicle, which in turn allows for more nutrients to get into the follicle and support the growth of new hairs. In order to be most effective, minoxidil is applied to the scalp daily.
Finasteride works by blocking the ability of an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase from converting testosterone into DHT (the hormone responsible for male pattern baldness).
Results will vary from person to person. The use of Finasteride and minoxidil begin to show visible results in as few as 3 months of daily use. It can take up to a year to see maximum results. Work with a provider to find the right plan for your lifestyle to produce results that make you confident.
The hair regrowth process involves both shedding of old hair and the growth of new hair follicles in its place. This growth cycle has four phases: anagen, catagen, telogen, and exogen phase. The anagen phase is the active growth phase where as many as 85-90% of the hairs on your head are currently undergoing. The catagen phase is where the hair growth slows and follicles shrink. The telogen phase is where the hair follicles enter a rest phase and stop growth altogether and can last a few months. The last phase is the exogen phase where old hair follicles detach and gradually begin to fall out and shedding occurs.
Unfortunately, there is not a cure that combats hair loss, but there are effective treatments and medications that work to restore and regrow hair. It’s important to note; however, these treatments may slow hair loss and even reverse the effects of balding. There is no treatment out there that can fully cure hair loss altogether.
